We guarantee the success of your donation

All board members and members of the AMAZONICA organisations work on a voluntary basis. Your donation will directly benefit the projects.
The Ecuadorian project manager and tax advisor Dr. Maritza Ivonne Naveda, who also prepares the annual financial statements, is responsible for monitoring the use of funds in Ecuador at our office in the city of Puyo. Ivonne has been working for AMAZONICA for over 20 years.
The allocation of funds and the accounts are audited several times a year in Ecuador by the board members from Germany.
The measures are selected by founder Mascha Kauka, drawing on her 45 years of experience and in consultation with our indigenous partners in the Amazon rainforest.

Protection of biodiversity

Your donation helps to preserve and maintain endangered animals, vegetation and water resources in the Amazon region of Ecuador.

Donations instead of taxes.
The tax office recognises up to 20%!

Donations to a charitable organisation such as the AMAZONICA Foundation are “expenses for the promotion of charitable, ecclesiastical, religious, scientific and other purposes recognised as particularly worthy of support (Section 10b of the Income Tax Act)” and can be claimed as donations for tax purposes.

General deduction: In principle, you can deduct donations up to a total of 20% of your total annual income.
Donation receipt: When making your donation, please provide your full address so that AMAZONICA can issue a tax-deductible donation receipt.
For donations up to €300 is a donation receipt from us not required. The deposit slip serves as proof for tax purposes.
