Local elementary schools are particularly important in indigenous territories. Schools built in traditional style, airy and cool under their thatched roofs. Not “cages” with four walls and tin roofs, as built by the state.
AMAZONICA has already built such indigenous schools in many places.
Now we are working with new villages on other rivers, and schools are needed again.
We kindly ask for your donation for the new elementary schools:
Two classrooms, an office for the two teachers, blackboards and teaching materials, and nowadays also a few laptops. Many villages have internet, and you can see from the example of our high school graduates how successfully it can be used far from the road network, not to mention in medical emergencies.
